Developing digital culture and skills

For over 30 years Cefriel has been creating training courses to develop the digital culture and skills of young graduates, professionals, and managers

Our team of training designers helps companies define course objectives, select the most relevant topics, and identify the best formats for customized learning experiences with a practical and effective approach.

The courses are delivered by a diverse faculty: a large network of university professors, together with Cefriel professionals involved in digital innovation projects who share the experience they have gained in the field.

University Master’s Degrees

Cefriel designs and delivers Master’s degree courses at the Polytechnic University of Milan for companies wishing to attract, hire, and train young talents

Corporate Master’s Degrees

Cefriel’s corporate Master’s degree courses are customized for each company. Together, we create specialized digital innovation training pathways for a group of professionals to drive recruitment, retention, and specialist training certified with a university degree.

The Master’s degree courses are either 18 or 24 months long and include periods of both study and work, allowing participants to apply their learning in the field through project work.

Some of the corporate Master’s degree programs currently underway:

  • Digital Platforms Technologies for PWC, Sara Assicurazioni, and Unicredit
  • Cloud Data Engineering for Bip
  • Security Specialist for Deloitte
  • Big Data Science for Allianz
  • Digital Integrated Circuit Design for ST Microelectronics
  • Inter-company Master’s Degrees

Cefriel’s inter-company Master’s degree courses are funded by the Lombardy Region. Companies can enroll one or more employees hired with a High Level Training and Research Apprenticeship contract (Art. 45), provided they reside or are domiciled in Lombardy, and benefit from funding to cover the cost of training.

The current round of applications is open until 15/12/2022. In addition to the inter-company Master’s degree courses, funding may be requested for a customized Master’s degree course for employees of an individual company as well.

    Inter-company Master’s degrees starting in 2022:

  • Master’s in Digital Innovation co-designed by Polimi Graduate School of Management, October 2022-March 2024

The course is delivered online by trained teaching staff with content developed by the PMI.

    Digital Culture

Cefriel proposes projects to develop digital mindsets and behavior at companies

    Measuring Digital Readiness

The Digital Readiness meter developed by Cefriel is based on a digital culture framework that can be customized for every corporate context. A survey of situational questions measures respondents’ digital mindset and aptitude.

The results can be analyzed in PowerBI to identify gaps to be filled and action priorities for specific population clusters.

    Developing Digital Culture

The purpose of Cefriel’s Digital Culture projects is to raise awareness about the opportunities offered by digital technologies and drive innovation in processes, products, services, and ways of working.

The digital culture development pathways include self-learning courses and live learning webinars with a highly engaging scientific and disciplinary approach.

“The GIDA - Geox Innovation Digital Academy pathway created with Cefriel has given the company a strong awareness of the central roles of upskilling and learning agility, or the need to keep people constantly updated and trained in self-learning.”

    Francesco Garello

Group Head of Human Resources and Organization, Geox

“The Innovation Catalyst training program, created with Cefriel, has developed a culture based on the importance of data. It was a training ground for understanding the importance of data quality in enabling the continuous improvement of processes.”

    Orazio Barzaghi

Squad group & Technology Center leader, Nokia

“Taking a Master’s course with Cefriel and the Polytechnic University of Milan means acquiring technical, specialist and inter-disciplinary skills combined with the added value that comes from applying a rigorous method of learning and innovation.”

    Letizia Barbi

Direttore delle Risorse Umane, Allianz S.p.A.
