Cefriel is looking for a system engineer fascinated by embedded technologies and Internet of Things, with a proactive and agile attitude, looking for continuously improving and learning, and willing to experiment with new technologies and methods. The candidate will work in the development team to bring to life new products and services, as well as develop PoCs and prototypes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Strong technical background to design system architectures, set standards and guidelines, develop, integrate, and test hardware and software solutions for IoT, both independently and working collaboratively with other team members and teams. Ability to perform detailed software design, write and document software for embedded processors in high-level languages. Ability to understand a full-stack approach from the embedded components up to back-end systems and front-end solutions.
Knowledge of best practices in software engineering to be applied, ad ability to direct software development initiatives to improve software cost, time-to-delivery, and quality. Support in evaluating, define and implement software processes, standards, plans, and other related drawings and design documents.
Analyzes customers context, markets, and regulatory scenario to clearly identify requirements for the solutions to be built. Sets technical direction and assists in establishing product development standards as related to software and industry guidelines. Prepares technical proposals and cost estimates for new products. Visits customers and regulatory authorities to make technical presentations and participate in design reviews.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic/Software/Telecommunication Engineering required
3 or more years of experience
Proven track of successful projects in the embedded and IoT area
Knowledge of C / C++ / Embedded Programming / UNIX / Object-oriented programming
Knowledge of main embedded platforms ARM / Intel / STm
Experience and skills in Web development, UI/UX design, and Node.JS/Python is a plus.
Team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, well developed problem-solving skills; solid organizational skills;
Ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization
Looking for a hands-on individual with the ability to see the big picture
