Junior Cybersecurity Consultant

Cefriel is a non-profit center formed by public and private actors with the aim of helping its stakeholders in the public and private sectors make the best use of digital technologies useful for the innovation of products, processes, and services.
We are looking for a person to join the Cybersecurity Unit, the person will be supported by the team in an innovative and stimulating environment in which it will be possible to explore various topics, contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions, cultivate their own ideas, and collaborate with many leading companies both nationally and internationally.
Activities and Responsibilities
- Conduct research to understand market trends, industry best practices, and new technologies
- Actively collaborate in the development of tools and technologies for threat monitoring and prevention
- Support digital forensic analysis to understand the causes and impacts of security incidents
- Contribute to the constant monitoring of network activities and systems to identify anomalous components
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress and collaborating with the team
- Create detailed documentation of the research conducted and prepare presentations to share the results with the team and the client
- Contribute to the evaluation of the impact of proposed innovative solutions, both in terms of benefits for the company and for clients
Required skills and competences
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field
- 1-2 years of work experience in the same field
- Knowledge of key concepts and technologies in cybersecurity
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Type of contract
Full-time permanent contract, CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria Privata, with a gross annual salary between €26,000.00 and €28,000.00 depending on experience, €8.00 electronic meal vouchers, €700.00 annual gross welfare benefits, and extra-professional accident insurance.
Additionally, flexible hours, goal-based management, and smart working are offered, as well as training to support the development of one’s professional skills through teamwork and on-the-job training, as well as through specific training programs and professional certifications.
